The Brotherhood of Right Values
The brotherhood that will stand
The one that will heal our land
Is the one that has right values at its core
And is founded on pillars firm and sure
Not the type that endorses acts that are wrong
Just because we speak the same tongue
Or denies a man the rights of his space
Just because he comes from a different place
It is a brotherhood stronger than tribe
It is one that will flourish and thrive
When we choose to respond to virtue’s call
To sacrifice for what is of benefit to all
Not prioritizing selfish gain
At the expense of another’s pain
Caring less about those who are in need
Just to quench mindless thirst and greed
It is a brotherhood stronger than religion
That cuts across the divides of region
To unite a people who will strive as one
To build a nation for generations to come
It is a brotherhood that I urge
You my reader to commit to forge
For if our brotherhood is to stand
It will be the work of our hands.
